Clifton Hall resident remanded

A CLIFTON HALL, ST JOHN, resident was been remanded to HMP Dodds after appearing in court on firearm and ammunition charges.

Police had earlier charged 23-year-old Daniel O’Brian Hayde with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

He was taken into custody last Sunday during an operation conducted by police in the St John district where a quantity of firearms and ammunition were seized.

When Hayde appeared before Magistrate Christopher Birch at the District ‘C’ Court, he was remanded to HMP Dodds. He is scheduled to reappear in court on December 7. (PR/SAT)
