Killer waiting to be sentenced
JERRICK SAMUEL TUDOR will have to wait a bit longer to find out what his sentence will be for killing his former girlfriend Krystal Lovell on December 1, 2013.
This comes after Justice Michelle Weekes, presiding in Supreme Court No. 2, adjourned the matter after hearing from him, his attorney Verla Depeiza and prosecutor Acting Crown Counsel Oliver Thomas yesterday.
It was earlier this year that the former Black Rock, St Michael resident pleaded not guilty to murder but admitted to manslaughter in the killing of his estranged girlfriend, with whom he has a daughter.
His voice overcome with emotion Tudor, 32, attempted to read from a prepared speech which he later abandoned, telling the court that “today is a pinnacle factor” in his life and it was in the “most unfortunate” situation that had brought him there. (GBM)
