IT’S AN age-old problem.

Concerns regarding an old fleet of equipment at the National Sports Council (NSC) have been brought to the fore following reports of the facilities across the island being unkempt.

Sources close to the situation contacted the WEEKENDSPORT to express their concerns about the matter.

Research has revealed that eight lighting towers belonging to the NSC are all out of operation. According to the source, the towers, which are usually in heavy rotation at this time of year, have not been used for the last four months.

In addition, the majority of the fleet of 11 drive mowers used to maintain the fields of the NSC facilities are also out of operation. (RA)
