TIME RAN OUT for the outbuildings of Queen’s House in Queen’s Park.
Less than a month after National Cultural Foundation chief executive officer Cranston Browne said the buildings were staying “for the time being”, the mislabelled fire-damaged coach house no longer exists after it was demolished, and only a part of the building that was once stables and kitchen remains.
In October, Browne revealed that tenders had been awarded for the refurbishment of Queen’s House, which will be used to host CARIFESTA events next year.
However, he said the outbuildings were to stay “for the time being”. (HLE)
