A WAR OF words has erupted between embattled trade unionist Akanni McDowall and outspoken Government Minister Donville Inniss.
The minister has accused McDowall, whose sudden reversion to his substantive post in the Ministry of Health has sparked industrial unrest, of being unqualified for the post in which he had been acting and suggested he was underperforming.
Inniss, the Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, also criticised the go-slow at the ports for causing frustration for visitors and residents.
He vowed to fight the “reckless and irresponsible” union leaders involved in the dispute. (WILLCOMM)
