FINE ARTS STUDENTS at the Barbados Community College protested school conditions yesterday, saying they have had enough.
About 33 students demonstrated during lunchtime on campus. They started in front of the principal’s office, made their way to the car park, walked around the school premises then went to Morningside where they usually have classes.
Dressed in all-black with placards reading: Rats ’bout Hay Heavy, We Shall Not Compro-mice, For A wide Selection of Diseases Visit Morningside, they shouted at the top of their voices saying “No more rats! No more rats!”
Elicia Cumberbatch, a final year student, said the theatre students were being “unfaired” and it was time the issues affecting them were urgently resolved. (SB)
