Goal frenzy vs smash and grab

THE TIME TO crown a champion in the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic is almost tangibly nigh.

With the sides employing contrasting styles of play, Christ Church East Central with their slick attacking brand of football, and St George South with their lethally effective “smash and grab” method, the eagerly awaited final at Kensington Oval should prove to be a fascinating contest.

Christ Church East Central will be going after a third successive title while it will be the first final for St George South.
