Upgrade for Museum car park
COME NEXT WEEK Barbadians and visitors alike will be travelling a smoother path with better lighting at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society.
Today, Deputy Director Kevin Farmer told NATION ONLINE that thanks to donations in kind by corporate Barbados and Barbadians, they were able to go ahead and start construction for a brand new car park.
Farmer did not reveal the price tag of the project, but said there would also be better lighting.
The Barbados Museum and Historical Society is located within the Garrison Historic Area in St Michael and has become a popular venue for weddings, fetes and other functions. (MR)
