St George South on target
ST GEORGE SOUTH produced a performance of sheer grit and character to capture their first ever title when the dust settled on the final of the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic at Kensington Oval on Sunday night.
The St George men displayed nerves of steel to dispatch all but one penalty, eventually winning 4-2 over defending champions and favourites Christ Church East Central after the final was locked at 0-0 following full and extra time.

Christ Church East Central dominated possession and chances as expected, monopolising possession from the start and probing for extended periods in search of openings.
