MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE Donville Inniss wants somebody held responsible for the environmental issues currently affecting several residents and businesses on the South Coast.

“It bothers me immensely when things like this happen. We fix the problem but nobody seems to be held accountable for it occurring in the first instance. That is why I keep speaking on the issue of governance and accountability because at the end of the day, we are going to have to spend a lot of money to fix this problem,” he told the media after a presentation of Samsung tablets, through The Aron Christina Foundation, to students at West Terrace Primary School yesterday.

“Somebody needs to say why it occurred in the first instance and who is responsible, and people must take responsibility, whether it be the level of a minister or technocrat.” (SDB Media)
