ADAM HORNBY should be ready for Davis Cup play.

Once he’s selected, of course.

The 21-year-old collegiate player says his shoulder injury isn’t very serious and expects to be fully recovered in time to travel to Paraguay for Barbados’ first-round Americas Group II tie in early February.

Hornby gave the assurance in an interview with NATIONSPORT after being forced to miss the just-concluded BTA Invitational due to a hurt right shoulder.

“I think I will be fully ready by then and my trainer thinks so too and I’m expecting to get back on the court in two weeks or maybe even sooner,” said the Dalton University baseliner. (JM)
