AND THE GIFT GOES ON, the children sang.

The message was evident throughout the recent Christmas programme at Ellerton Wesleyan Holiness Church in St George held under the theme: The Greatest Gift.

Based on John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son . . .”, the production, according to Sunday school superintendent Andre Padmore, highlighted that God’s gift to man was not only the birth of the Saviour, but His life, through to His ultimate sacrifice on the Cross, which provided the world with “the gift of salvation”.

“The production brought to bear the many talents within the Sunday school department as both young and old ministered in a powerful way,” he added.

The non-stop package included singing, miming, dancing and poetry interspersed with dramatisation of Jesus’ life on earth. (RP)
