In with a bang

THE WEST COAST and part of the North were filled with lots of excitement as revellers ushered in 2017. 

On First and Second Streets in Holetown, St James, Old Year’s hats, blowers and music of all types dominated the scene as both locals and tourists partied all night in the streets and bars and at Mango Bay Hotel. 

While more locals could be found jamming on First Street, Nishi’s was the hot spot on Second Street, along with Mango Bay where management threw an Old Year’s party for guests complete with a live band.

Further north at Almond Beach Resort in St Peter, there was also a hive of activity as both locals and guests, after a sumptuous dinner, took to the dance floor, to welcome the new year in grand style to the music of a live band. (RL)
