Northern Star a favourite

DERBY WINNER Northern Star is heavily favoured to extend his winning streak to five when he lines up against five others opponents at the Garrison Savannah today in the
2 000 metres feature Happy New Year Trophy Handicap. 

With the weights distributed, Northern Star should make light work of the field, some of whom felt his wrath on November 19. 

The colt, which falls under champion trainer Victor Cheeeseman, has displayed awesome form since a fourth place on debut two years ago. 

Going from strength to strength with a record of seven wins from ten starts, many see him as the next superstar to become a household name that could pull in the big crowds. (LY)
