DANGER: potholes ahead.

Road users are about to get some help avoiding the street nuisances that have developed into danger zones all over the island.

From today, road safety activists will be placing markers at some of the more dangerous potholes in an attempt to safeguard drivers from injury or the expense of repairs from dropping into them.

As the Barbados Road Safety Association sets out on the project, its president Sharmaine Roland-Bowen lambasted the lack of action by authorities and tore into Member of Parliament and Minister of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman formaking statements in “ignorance”. (AC)
