APPARENTLY the Bajan public isn’t the only one in the dark.

Athletics Association of Barbados (AAB) president Catherine Jordan is concerned about the lack of communication with the National Sports Council (NSC) board regarding the state of the National Stadium.

Jordan expressed the sentiment in a wide-ranging interview with WEEKENDSPORT at the Waterford venue, where the crumbling stands have been condemned for more than a year now.

“I can’t talk about the Stadium because no one talks about the Stadium. Occasionally the minister comes out and says something about the Stadium, but it’s easy to pick up an architectural drawing every now and then and put it out there when there’s nothing to support it,” said Jordan, a former NSC board member.
