Doyle gains gold standard
DOYLE OFFSHORE SAILS is being heralded by Minister of Commerce Donville Inniss as a gold standard for Barbadian companies to follow.
The minister spoke highly of the 30-year-old local sail-making company Wednesday night as it celebrated moving into a new warehouse in Six Roads.
Inniss said the country should follow Doyle’s lead and become more export-driven.
“Doyle Offshore Sails are a very unique company. Not just a unique product, but certainly the manifestation of the skills and the citizenship of those who put this all together. You’re a shining example of where Barbados needs to go,” Inniss told staff at the company’s headquarters at Six Roads. (AD)
