Grenada family search protest
A TEAM OF around nine regional lawyers has been assembled to consider the legal options of a Grenadian family alleging gross mistreatment at the hands of the Royal Barbados Police Force last October.
At the same time, regional civil society groups from across the Caribbean are being rallied to drum up support and denounce the alleged actions of the lawmen, lead attorney Ruggles Ferguson, managing partner of the Grenada law firm, Ciboney Chambers, told the SATURDAY SUN.
This comes as local police yesterday announced via a press release that an internal investigation has been “ordered” into the October 11 incident involving the family of Tamika, 28, and Lynell Gilbert, 31. (WILLCOMM)
