MP still waiting on court
ATTORNEYS REPRESENTING former Barbados Labour Party (BLP) Member of Parliament, Dr Maria Agard are still playing the waiting game.
Agard, the first-time MP who was expelled from the BLP in November 2015, has crossed the floor of Parliament to sit as an Independent, and is actually still embroiled in a civil lawsuit against the country’s oldest political party.
But no word has come from the Supreme Court regarding her case against the BLP.
“We still haven’t heard anything from the court,” Agard’s attorney at law, Lynette Eastmond, confirmed to the SUNDAY SUN recently. (BA)
