THERE WERE GOALS aplenty when the Digicel Premier League continued at the National Stadium on Thursday night, with both the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) and Notre Dame claiming exciting 3-2 wins.

BDFSP prevailed over Paradise, thanks to goals from Baggio Harewood, Rashad Jules and Decarlo Jemmott, whose strikes had cancelled out those of Barry Skeete and Armando Lashley for Paradise.

Meanwhile in the later game, a goal from Avery Chandler and two Zeco Edmee penalties were enough to see off a spirited Waterford Compton side, whose two replies came from Sheridan Grosvenor and Zinio Harris.

BDFSP, looking to continue their dominant form coming into the match day, opened the scoring as early as the tenth minute, after some characteristically confident build-up play culminated in a cross floated to Harewood inside the area.
