Brath’s beef
RYAN BRATHWAITE is just as good clearing the air as he is hurdles.
The former world champion believes not enough is being done to advance Bajan sports, having openly criticised the respective authorities for failing to put plans in place to consistently develop athletes.
Brathwaite spoke candidly in a WEEKEND NATION interview after making his feelings felt this week via Facebook.
“Sports of today right now in Barbados are dying and the Minister of Sports isn’t doing much because there really isn’t a plan in place,” said the 28-year-old sprint hurdler. (JM)
