SO MUCH for beating Cougars.

The Trinis brought their own Carnival to the National Stadium once again after the visiting Cougars dominated just about every division en route to unassailable leads at yesterday’s 14th running of the Relay Fair.

Up to the staging of the Under-13 4×200 metre relays, the defending girls’ and boys’ champs more than doubled the point-tallies of their nearest rivals in both standings to put them as clear frontrunners for the inaugural Leroy Harper Memorial Champion School Trophy.

Led by particularly strong junior divisions, Cougars emphatically blew the boys’ competition wide open by amassing 82 points – 54 more than then joint second place teams St Leonard’s Boys’ and The St Michael School. (JM)
