HEALING HERBS: Mushroom plant above envy

ARE YOU A JUDAS? Would you betray a friend, family or anyone else for 30 pieces of silver?

Have you ever studied the spiritual symbolism associated with 30 pieces of silver? These pieces of silver may not necessarily be silver or money, but may be anything that you gain from betraying or “selling out” others. Matthew 28:16, referring to Judas, states: “What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for 30 pieces of silver.”

If we berate biblical Judas, we must remember that we too may be perpetrators of betrayal.

Significantly, as the Age of Aquarius spins into full effect, consciousness will continue to reveal all forms of betrayal. Self-betrayal is the worst type because it can cause low self-esteem and envy to develop. Envy is the mother of betrayal and is a vicious demon that requires immediate exorcism.

Envy can take the form of making false complaints about others; spreading propaganda to belittle others; manipulating the supervisor or head of the family by backbiting for personal gain; using social media to degrade others to appear superior; secretly plotting, labelling and disrespecting others to solicit favour with anyone, and not loving yourself.

I am suggesting that you can consult Archbishop of the West Indies and Barbados’ Anglican Bishop Dr John Holder and his team about the empowering Anglican prayers of penitence and deliverance to assist with replacing envy with love and intelligence. I still remember those powerful prayers which I recited at Confirmation classes as a member of St Luke’s Anglican Church.

You can also accomplish healing the body through researching the health benefits of mushrooms. Amazingly, as it relates to diabetes, the webpage organicfacts.net reveals that mushrooms “contain a lot of water and fibre. Moreover, they contain natural insulin and enzymes which help the breaking down of sugar or starch in food”. Mushrooms can also prevent joint pain and osteoporosis, strengthen the immune system, reduce blood pressure, prostate and breast cancer, and stimulate iron absorption.

On the website readersdigest.ca/food/healthy-food/3-health-benefits-mushrooms/ it states that “mushrooms are rich in disease-fighting phytochemicals, and eating them regularly has been linked to a lower risk of breast cancer in studies of Chinese and Korean women”. Mushrooms can also lower cholesterol, increase longevity, make you slim and act as a defence against HIV.

Finally, Jesus said in John 14:12: “Whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these.”

Let us do greater things by mushrooming above envy. Instead, plant more silent doctors, pray and love more.
