Artistes ‘up de ting’ at Holetown

SEVENTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD calypsonian Mighty Grynner did not have to sing a note to get the crowd on his side. He just had to dance and he had them going as the curtain came down on a week of nightly entertainment at the Holetown Festival Saturday.

The first soca artiste on stage, Grynner showed the younger generation that old does not mean cold.

He went back in time and pulled up the dusty records, the responses to which betrayed the age of some in the audience.

They responded with total abandonment and captured every moment on their mobile phones. (NS)
