SOCIAL SCENE: Evening of cocktails and music
The Apes Hill Country Club’s clubhouse in St James is an impressive luxurious facility and Sir Charles Williams invited a host of his friends, business associates, staff and golfing enthusiasts to the grand official opening last week.
In his usual inimitable style, the business magnate and well-known real estate developer spoke about the ten-year path to creating the Apes Hill project, which is already getting high marks for Barbados’ tourism.
The grand affair brought out women stylishly dressed to the nines while their menfolk struck their own distinctive fashion note in brand-name duds with an
eye-catching colour palette.
It was an evening of cocktails, music and just a few speeches. (GC)
