BARBADOS DEFENCE FORCE Sports Programme (BDFSP) emphatically dismissed Waterford Compton 7-0 to stay at the top of the table with Weymouth Wales when the Digicel Premier League continued at the Wildey AstroTurf on Sunday.
Hat-tricks from Shaquille Boyce and Omani Leacock plus a Decarlo Jemmot strike were the catalysts in a chastening experience for the Waterford side who were inflicted with their heaviest defeat of the season.
In another game, Wales kept pace with the BDFSP following a narrow 1-0 win over a spirited Notre Dame.
Either side had their chances, but it was Hadan Holligan who eventually broke the deadlock in the 64th to hand Wales a slender lead which they never relinquished. (ML)
