Two own up to drugs on ship
A VOYAGE ON BOARD the Lady Sandra headed for the shores of Barbados ended with two Guyanese men on six drug charges.
Coco Profitt and Paul Fraser, admitted to the offences before Justice Jacqueline Cornelius in the No.5 Supreme Court yesterday.
They were jointly charged with importing, trafficking and possessing 14.5 kilogrammes of cocaine along with importing, trafficking and possessing two kilogrammes of cannabis on September 10, 2015.
In Fraser’s statement to police, he said he was at home on September 6, 2015, when he received a call from the owner of Lady Sandra, a Vickie, asking him to make a trip to Barbados to transport cement. (TKS)
