Three injured in Silver Hill incident

THREE CHRIST CHURCH men were injured last night during a shooting incident at Block 3D, Silver Hill, Christ Church.

Police say the victims were ‘liming’ in the area with other men when a number of loud explosions were heard around 10:50 p.m.

As they were running away, three men realised they had been injured.

Randy Went, 32, of Green Hill, Silver Hill received gunshot injuries to his right rib and right forearm while Adrian Cox, 38, of Maxwell was shot in his right foot.

Twenty-one-year-old Devon Rowe of Block 3D received a laceration to his right hand. He was transported to the FMH Emergency Medical Clinic by private vehicle and he was treated and discharged.

Cox was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle while Went was transported by ambulance. Their condition is listed as stable.
