Taking Note

OUTSPOKEN GOVERNMENT MINISTER Donville Inniss is “taking note” of last Saturday’s Step Up If Yuh Fed Up march by the Opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP) and the recent downgrades by two different international rating agencies.

Inniss was off the island for the march and the exchanges on the downgrades, but said he would not be dismissing either of them.

“Anytime you have a sizeable amount of people taking to the streets, albeit in a very civilised manner, they are sending a message and the Government must take note.

“I, certainly as a minister and an MP [Member of Parliament], have taken very copious notes of the messages being sent, not necessarily by the Barbados Labour Party alone. . .  (YB)
