Lowe warns trespassers
MINISTER OF THE ENVIRONMENT and Drainage Dr Denis Lowe yesterday warned people against trespassing on his private property.
A day after he reported that a huge sign laden with profanities and stating Fed Up was placed on his property, the minister told the House of Assembly he was prepared to defend himself and his property at all costs.
“Anytime that I am in my home or coming towards my house and any such activity is going [on], Denis Lowe is prepared to defend my person and my property,” he said during his contribution to the Estimates Debate.
“Barbados is a free society. Anybody is free to do what they want to do, but there are still laws that obtain. All I’m saying is that all of this hyping, all of this winding-up of people that is going on in this society, do not be surprised if down the road we see things that we never thought we would see in this island of ours.” (WILLCOMM)
