COMBERMERE is still battling environmental issues, according to the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU).
President Mary Redman said that two months after the Waterford, St Michael school was reopened after being closed for several months due to environmental hazards, staff and students were still being affected.
She revealed yesterday that she was still getting numerous complaints on a daily basis.
“I have been constantly receiving reports about a stench in classrooms on a relatively frequent basis. Some days as many as five, six different classrooms are affected. . . (RB)
