STRONG LEADERSHIP is what is required to take the region forward.

This is the view of Andre Bello, Virgin Atlantic’s commercial manager for the Caribbean, who made the point Thursday at the launch of the airline’s Business Is An Adventure leadership conference that will feature founder Sir Richard Branson on May 3 at the Barbados Hilton.

“As we look to develop the region, we know that strong leadership is often the difference between ideas that succeed and ideas that fail. We believe that small changes applied to the right areas can drive lasting change,” he said.

Bello, who will be the moderator at the conference, said he believed the upcoming event was just what the Caribbean needed, explaining further that it was targeted at business professionals who were looking for a practical approach to improving leadership skills. (CM)
