A WOMAN WAS injured when a tree fell on her in the taxi stand at Lower Broad Street, The City.
A taxi driver told NATION ONLINE the woman was walking by when the tree hit her on the head around midday.
He said she stumbled then fell, prompting onlookers to summon emergency personnel.
Last November another tree fell in the area during bad weather. (AD)
