ARE YOU WHERE you’ve always wanted to be?

Definitely not. I am probably where I wanted to be about ten years ago but life is about reinvention. I keep moving the goalpost so that I don’t become complacent or bored.

What is your biggest professional challenge?

Balancing operating costs and budgets without compromising quality and client experience.

What is your biggest life challenge?

Remaining focused on completing routine responsibilities when my spirit is creative, impulsive and wants to roam.

When you look to the future, what do you see?

Technology driving commerce in ways beyond my imagination and comprehension. I believe that off-the-grid experiences will become highly sought as people will need to find ways to unplug and slow down.

What is your favourite pastime?

Travelling, taking photos and soca (listening, dancing, and watching it being performed).

What is your favourite meal?

Any kind of salad and most things with cheese!

On Saturday nights, where are you likely to be?

Unless it is Crop Over or I am working at an event, I am generally at home.

What upsets you the most?

Gossip, lack of accountability and laziness.

What is your guiding philosophy?

Personal: Feel the fear, do it anyway. Professional: You are as good as your last event.

If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?

I don’t think I am qualified for the job and I would need more than a day . . . but I would focus on developing and rolling out a national action plan with the intent that all levels of society could have access to the high-level vision and growth strategy for the country in order to contribute at the micro-level.
