Attorney to look into suicide claim

THE FAMILY OF a man who police claim took his own life while in custody at the Oistins Police Station have hired an attorney to delve into the circumstances which led to his untimely death.

Angela Best, the distraught mother of 34-year-old Corey Best, was hoping to hear from the powers that be or even her parliamentary representative over the last seven days, to explain what led to the death of her eldest son.

But she said she is yet to get a phone call.

“We have hired an attorney to get to the bottom of this,” Best told the SUNDAY SUN.
