‘We can hold own’ in 4×100

ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION OF BARBADOS (AAB) vice-president Noel Lynch believes Barbadian sprinters can hold their own.

His comments came while congratulating the Barbados team on winning a silver medal in the men’s 4×100 metres relay at the IAAF World Relays in The Bahamas last Saturday night. noel-lynch

He said that while there are very few teams that are competitive on an international level, Barbados could compete against any.

“We said it all along: we believe that we have a men’s 4×100 metres relay team that is competitive enough to compete with the best in the world.” (RA)
