BLOOD STAINS are all that remain and police investigations have started into an early morning stabbing death.

Reports are that two women, both Jamaicans, were involved in a fight around 2:30 a.m. at Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, which resulted in one being stabbed.

She subsequently died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

One resident in the area who spoke to NATION Online on condition of anonymity, said the girls had an ongoing disagreement.

Jamaicans who witnessed the incident said the girls were friends and the deceased, who was identified as “Peppa”, was in Barbados for only a week.

She has since been identified by police as 34-year-old Shockaya Natalya Boyd

The other woman involved, they said, was here from March 29. She is in custody assisting police with investigations. (TKS)
