Dottin’s XI take Boyce crown

DOTTIN’S XI are champions of the 11th annual Chance La Brasserie Keith Boyce Memorial Cricket Competition, thrashing Boscobel by 124 runs in an anti-climactic affair on Heroes Day at the Keith Boyce Pavilion, Diamond Corner, St Peter.

In ideal conditions, Dottin’s XI tallied 247 in 34.4 overs and dismissed Boscobel for 123 in 20.1 overs to finish the competition unbeaten.

All-rounder Shane Ramsay was awarded Man Of The Match for a well-played 41 in Dottin’s XI innings and returned figures of three for 24 with his off-spin.

Ramsay’s innings spanned 30 balls and included three fours and two sixes.
