TWO HOURS BEFORE the test of their young lives, scores of pupils gathered at examination centres in the north for the Common Entrance Examination.
At Daryll Jordan Secondary School in St Lucy, some anxious and some calm pupils from St Lucy Primary, Half Moon Fort, Selah and Ignatius Byer schools sat the three-hour exam also referred to as the 11-Plus.
Parents fussed over the children, taking photos, and made sure they were well relaxed.
Alexandra School in St Peter was the centre for pupils from Roland Edwards and Gordon Greenidge primary schools. (RL)
