BERNARD SEALY and Albert Scantlebury have brought glory to Barbados on the bodybuilding stage, now the two long-time friends want to give back to the sport by opening a health and fitness facility.

Sealy, the 1989 world middleweight champion, and Scantlebury, the 1990 world championship light heavyweight bronze medallist, are appealing to Government for help in acquiring the land at a central location for the facility.

It will incorporate weight-training, aerobics, fitness, and cardio and will be named Best Buddy’s Health Fitness.

Scantlebury told the DAILY NATION that once the land is acquired, he and the United States-based Sealy will finance the building project. (MK)
