OFFICIALS AT ONE of the schools where a vicious fight among students was recorded and went viral, are uneasy about the Government plan to allow the use of cellphones in schools.
Deputy head of the Christ Church Foundation School, Peter Cox, declared the decision to have the gadgets in schools come September as a conundrum, and is predicting many challenges.
And he has the support of principal Robert Cumberbatch, who pointed out that some of the incidents involving the students were “serious to the point where they could become legal” matters.
Head of the foreign language department Moira Graham was more blunt, warning: “We would be setting ourselves up.” (WILLCOMM)
