FORMER BARBADOS HOCKEY star Peter Harris stole the spotlight on the opening day of the tenth annual BCQS/Jammin International Squash Masters Tournament at the Marine courts on Wednesday.

Harris came from two sets down to beat Martin Bryan in an epic five-setter. He lost the first two sets 5-11, 12-14, but proved his mettle by taking the next three 11-2, 11-5, 11-3.

The crowd wanted more only if it were possible because of the high standard and competitive nature of the duel.

There were two more five setters in this section with two players from England beating Trinidadians. (PR)
