Hornby steps up a notch

ADAM HORNBY is taking it up a notch.

Barbados’ Davis Cup squad will have another player on the NCAA Division I tennis circuit next season after Hornby opted to pursue an MBA at Idaho State.

The 21-year-old baseliner broke the news via his Facebook page earlier this week after Bengals head coach Mark Rodel signed Hornby as a graduate transfer from Dalton State University.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity and it looks to be a good environment as everyone there seems to be on board with me coming over and getting to work as soon as possible,” said Hornby. (JM)
