Visitors cry harassment

TWO GLOBE-TROTTING FRIENDS have complained that they were made to partially strip at a beach facility when they had done nothing wrong, leaving them feeling violated.

Yasmine Sazvar, 28, a Swede, and Natascha Von Nottbeck, 27, a German, were on a short visit to Barbados when on Wednesday at the suggestion of their host they visited Browne’s Beach on Wednesday where she dropped them off after midday.

The host, with whom they had been staying for their three-day visit, confirmed that she had assured them the area was safe and a nice beach to enjoy.

While there, said the two, they were in the shade where other beach-goers were, including a man who appeared a bit odd and was being questioned by a woman about alcohol. (AC)
