“A 90 RIGHT in the night is the same call in the day.”

Jamaican co-driver Mike Fennell Jr told the SATURDAY SUN that the choice of a night stage to open Sol Rally Barbados 2017 was not a daunting proposition for him or his driver Jeff Panton.

In fact, the pair, who are looking to make it three in a row, said ahead of last night’s start it was nothing big to them as they had competed in similar conditions in their homeland, as well as internationally, and had done well.

“We are ready for whatever comes our way, but will be cautious. We have entered the rally to win it. It’s as simple as that and we say thanks to all our sponsors, the organisers and our large fan base – be it Jamaican or Barbadian – and we are looking forward to giving of our best,” Panton added.
