ATTORNEY GENERAL and minister of Home Affairs Adriel Brathwaite is accusing adults of sending mixed messages to the youth about conflict resolution.

As an example, he cited the recent failure to hold the final of the Everton Weekes Under-13 Cricket Competition due to a disagreement between the Barbados Association of Principals for Public Secondary Schools (BAPPSS) and the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA).

BAPPSS withdrew the cricketers from the Christ Church Foundation and Combermere in protest against aspects of the BCA’s 2017 regulations.

As he addressed Optimist International’s third quarter district meeting at the Manor Lodge conference room, Manor Lodge, Green Hill, St Michael, yesterday, the Attorney General suggested that this was not good enough. (WILLCOMM)
