Cavs KO kings
HEY aren’t just the cardiac kids anymore.
Nope, Station Hill are definitely basketball’s knockout kings.
The young Cavs have certainly come of age, having fought off a furious second-half comeback to capture their second straight Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League knockout title via Sunday’s 81-73 win over arch-rivals Lumber Company Lakers.
It was just another of those coming of age moments at the Barbados Community College, where the youthful Cavaliers announced themselves as the league favourites by rolling through the knockouts after winning nine straight league games as well. (JM)
