Fogging schedule for June 19 to 23

THE VECTOR CONTROL UNIT of the Ministry of Health will continue its work to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito this week, concentrating its efforts primarily in St Michael.

The exception will be on Monday, June 19, when they will be in St James, fogging Jupiter Gardens, Maynards Housing Area, Jerusalem, Skeeteā€™s Road, Rose Hill, Apple Grove and environs.

For the remainder of the week they will be in districts throughout St Michael. On Tuesday, June 20, they will spray Spooners Hill, Rock Gap, Woodstock, Long Gap with Avenues, Rogers Terrace with Avenues, Pillersdolf Development and neighbouring districts.

On Wednesday, June 21, the districts to be targeted will be Grazettes, Long Gap, Piedmont Park, Grazettes Gardens, While Hall Main Road and environs.

On Thursday, June 22, the team will fog Waterford, Leinster Road, Longford Place, Gallow Way Lane, Savannah Road, Clarkeā€™s Road, Clements Avenue, Snagg Land, Nurse Land, Station Hill with Avenues and surrounding areas.

Highgate Gardens, Collymore Rock, Burkeā€™s Land, Eversley Road, Brittons New Road, Reece Land and neighbouring districts will be sprayed on Friday, June 23.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. each day. (BGIS)
