EVEN THE STAFF are making their way out of the National Stadium.
Two years after the stands were condemned due to falling debris, the employees of the National Stadium are set to be relocated to the neighbouring Netball Stadium because of safety concerns.
National Sports Council interim chief executive officer Jerry Blenman confirmed the move after a SUNSPORT team spotted three containers and excavation work at the grounds of the Netball Stadium.
“We have taken a decision that we are going to shift the stadium staff from the [National] Stadium to the Netball Stadium as part of our procedure to make sure of their safety as well,” said Blenman. (JM)
