Man shot during break-in

A ST PHILIP MAN is nursing a gunshot injury after confronting two armed masked men who broke into his home. 

Police say 41-year-old Mark Anthony Dear of Rices, St Philip was shot in his right side on Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. 

The two men then fled the scene. 

Dear was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, treated and discharged.
